What Owelz does: a tour of the whole platform
Every part of Owelz in one read — admin dashboard, member app and public pages — with what each screen is for and how they fit together.
Owelz is the operating system for a fitness studio. This post walks through the whole product so you know what you get on day one of the trial — no feature list, just what each part does for a real studio.
Three surfaces, one database

Everything below is the same data. A booking made in the member app appears on the desk calendar instantly; an attendance recorded at check-in feeds payroll and the instructor's public profile.
The admin dashboard
Home
The first screen is a calm summary: today's bookings and check-ins, revenue this month, members at risk of leaving, and a short list of things that need a decision — leads to follow up, a payroll period waiting for approval, a session over capacity. No dashboards to configure.
Schedule
A weekly calendar per branch. Create a one-time or recurring session with a class family, room, instructor, capacity and price. Sessions are colour-coded by class family. From the session card you book a member (package, walk-in, free or invitation), check people in, see the waitlist, and cancel with automatic refunds and notifications. Scheduling docs →
Customers
One row per member: active package, credits left, next booking, stage (Lead → Trial → Active → Expired → Churned). Open a profile for packages, booking history, notes, attachments, medical notes and a full audit trail of who did what. The Risk analytics tab ranks members by how likely they are to stop coming, so you call the right ten people this week. Member docs →
Packages
Design what you sell: credits or unlimited, validity in days, class families it covers, branches where it works, freeze limits and guest invitations. Publish it to make it visible in the member app. Selling at the desk takes three clicks and records the payment source. Package docs →
Wallet
The ledger. Every package sale, walk-in and manual transaction lands here with its source — cash box, Instapay, card terminal, a custom source you define — and who recorded it. Filter by branch, date and source; export CSV. The cash box keeps a running balance so end-of-day counting is a comparison, not a hunt. Wallet docs →
Payroll
Create a pay period and Owelz computes what each instructor is owed from attended sessions × their hourly rate (with per-session overrides), plus any base or commission for admins. Add bonuses, deductions, advances or corrections with a reason; approve to lock; mark paid in cash or digitally, which posts back to the wallet. Print payslips, export CSV. Payroll docs →
Sales
The leads pipeline. Everyone who has not bought yet, with source, last contact, next follow-up and a timeline of calls and notes. Stale leads are flagged automatically. When a lead buys a package they become Active without anyone moving a card. Leads docs →
Staff
Admins with roles (named permission sets) and optional branch restriction; instructors with hourly rate, class families they teach, and a switch to show them on your public page. Staff docs →
Notifications and settings
Transactional messages by email and WhatsApp — booking confirmed, reminder, session moved, package expiring — with editable templates per language and quiet hours. Company settings hold the rules: booking and cancellation cut-offs, booking horizon, freeze limits, walk-in price, payment sources. Notification docs →
The member app
A web app at app.owelz.co — nothing to install. Members see the schedule per branch, book within your rules, join waitlists, cancel inside the window, and see exactly how many credits are left and when the package ends. They switch between Arabic and English themselves. After attending a class they can rate it, which feeds the verified reviews on public pages. Member app docs →
Public pages
Every studio on Owelz gets a page at owelz.com/s/your-studio: logo, cover, description in two languages, disciplines, branches, the roster of instructors you approve, published packages with prices, the next seven days of public classes, a gallery, and a Join button that creates a lead in your Sales tab. Instructors get a profile at owelz.com/i/their-name that follows them between studios and shows classes taught and verified ratings — never their phone or rates.
Reviews are the part nobody else can copy: only members who actually attended can rate, written notes stay private to you, and a score appears only after five reviews. Public pages docs →

Getting started
