Two kinds of staff exist under Staff management.

Admins#

Admins use the dashboard. Each admin has a role — a named set of permissions you define (e.g. Front desk: book and check in members, sell packages, no access to payroll or wallet totals). The Owner role has every permission and cannot be edited.

Optionally restrict an admin to specific branches. A restricted admin sees only those branches' schedule, members, packages and transactions.

Instructors#

Instructors teach sessions. They have their own login for the instructor app and, once claimed, a public profile.

Set on each instructor:

• Hourly rate — the default used by payroll. A session can override it.
• Class families they teach.
• Show on public page — whether they appear on your studio's roster.
