Record an injury with its body area, restriction and expected return date — and it reaches the instructor on the class list of every session that member is booked into.
An injury on Owelz is not a note. It is a structured record with a body area, a restriction, dates and a status — because it has a job to do: reach the instructor before the class starts.
Recording one
Profile → Injuries → Add an injury.
| Field | What to put |
|---|---|
| Body area | Neck, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, upper back, lower back, hip, knee, ankle, foot, ribs, or somewhere else. |
| Side | Left, right, both, or not applicable. |
| What happened | The background, for the record. |
| Restriction | The line the instructor reads before class. Short and practical: "No weight on the right wrist." |
| Started and Expected back | The timeline. Past the expected date, the record is flagged as overdue so it gets revisited rather than living forever. |
| Status | Active, Recovering, or Healed. |
Where it shows up
- The instructor's class list — the restriction line, on every session that member is booked into, in the instructor app.
- The schedule — the session panel says "3 members with an open injury" so the desk can brief a covering instructor.
- The profile — the full record, with healed injuries kept in a separate history you can expand.
Closing one
Mark healed moves it into the history with the date. It stays on the record: a knee that flares up twice a year is a pattern worth being able to see, and a member who is hurt again is better served by an instructor who can read what happened last time.
