Open a session on the calendar and the booking panel is underneath it: Customers Booked Session (7/12), the waiting list, and a search box.

Booking someone in#

Search by name, member ID, email or phone, then pick how the class is paid for:

• Package — a credit comes off. The packages the member holds are listed with their remaining credit, and any that cannot pay for this session are shown with the reason.
• Walk-in — they pay the session's drop-in price. It lands in the wallet immediately as money in.
• Invitation — a guest pass from the member's package. Their remaining invitations go down by one.
• Waiting list — the session is full. See waitlist.

Package activation#

A package that has not started yet activates the moment it pays for its first booking — the form warns you before you confirm. This is why a member can buy in December for a January start: the clock begins when they actually use it, not when they paid.

Check-in#

Booking is intention. Check-in is the fact, and it is what the rest of the product counts:

• Payroll pays instructors for sessions taught.
• Analytics reports fill rate, attendance and "booked → attended".
• Member risk watches how often someone attends, not how often they book.

Instructors can mark attendance in the instructor app; the desk can do it from the session. A member's member code — a QR on their profile and in their app — makes the desk version a scan.

Cancelling a booking#

Cancelling from the desk returns the credit. A member cancelling in the app past the cancellation cutoff set in Company details loses it. Both are recorded with who did it, and show on the member's profile under Sessions.

Injuries at the desk#

If a member booked into today's classes has an open injury, the schedule says so: 3 members with an open injury. Instructors see the restriction line on their class list. See injuries.
