Class families

Define the types of classes you teach and give each one a colour.

A class family is a kind of class — Reformer Pilates, Vinyasa, HIIT 45, Kids Ballet. Sessions on the calendar always reference a family, which gives you:

  • One colour per family on the schedule.
  • Packages that are valid only for some families (e.g. a Reformer-only bundle).
  • Instructors linked to the families they can teach, so the session form only offers qualified instructors.
  • The disciplines shown on your public studio page and on instructor profiles.

Create a family

Class families → Create: name, colour, active. Deactivate a family instead of deleting it if sessions already reference it.

On each instructor's profile choose the families they teach. This is also what feeds the discipline list on their public profile.
